 About our Organization

VISION:  Building Community through the Arts
MISSION:  Creating an integrated arts community by building connections between North Shore residents, artists, and visitors through arts experiences, education,
and collaborations.

HISTORY:  Arts on Superior began as a CAPP (Comprehensive Arts Planning Program) grant from Perpich Center for the Arts in 2007.  The grant provided monies to poll residents of Lake County for needs in arts and arts education in order to create a 5-year plan for arts and arts education in our area.   November 2010 Arts on Superior was awarded 501(c) (3) status by the IRS and incorporated as a non-profit organization with the State of Minnesota.
